Prague's Biggest Dog Festival Returns This Autumn!

Every autumn, Holešovická tržnice (Holešovice Market) in Prague 7 transforms into a paradise for dog lovers. Dogs & Friends – Autumn Edition is the city's most beloved canine community festival, organised by Holešovická tržnice in cooperation with DOGG, bringing together dogs and their humans for a relaxed, fun-filled Saturday. Over recent editions the event has built a strong and loyal community of fans from across the Czech Republic, and the 2026 autumn edition promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The programme is packed with highlights for every kind of dog enthusiast. Visitors can look forward to the iconic Meet & Greet breed gatherings — flat-faced breeds (pugs, French bulldogs, Boston terriers), sighthounds and primitive breeds, poodle mixes (cockapoo, cavapoo, labradoodle), and Australian Shepherds. The famous Pawzler Czech Championship — a timed puzzle-solving competition for dogs — keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats, with heats running from 10:00 to 15:30 and the winner announcement at 15:45. A dog fashion show presented by DOGG showcases the latest trends in canine collars and clothing, while a pop-up market with over 20 stalls from Czech and Slovak dog brands offers everything from gourmet treats to stylish accessories.

Beyond the competitions, guests can enjoy the Food Truck Point culinary zone, a dedicated photo corner, discounts in the DOGG store, and on-site consultations with pet insurance experts from Direct. Dogs of all breeds and sizes are warmly welcome — just keep them on a lead as per the venue rules!
