Child friendly restaurants in Prague 2

This article offers brief and selective overview of quality restaurants for families with kids in Prague 2. It does not aim at providing a complete list of all venues but it introduces quality places, which are definitely worth visiting.

Vinohradský Parlament, one of my favourite venues, is located only a few meters from Náměstí Míru (Peace square), in Korunní street. Spacious, secure and well-equipped play area for different age groups is not a part of the main restaurant area, which can be a great advantage. What is more, a professional babysitter is available during weekends. In most cases, she manages to entertain kids and keep them inside the play area. So it is very likely that your kids will be happy and you will be happy to enjoy your meal in peace.  The kids´ area features a small kitchen with a mini beer tap, a climbing frame, slides with balloons, a television, a play station and various educative games. The restaurant offers delicious and fresh dishes for children, healthy drinks and a delightful homemade ice cream. High chairs, children´s cutlery and colouring books are available to all tots seated at the table. I am sure that both you and your children will love this place.

In summer and warm weather you can take children to the garden of Pizzeria Grosseto, which is located in Francouzská street, close to Náměstí Míru (Peace square). The garden provides a big play area with little houses, slides and many toys.

A popular family friendly café, Kafé Kakao, is situated in Americká street, very close to a beautiful park. The interior is well-furnished and very comfortable. A non-smoking café includes a small children´s corner with various toys, books and a blackboard. Kafé Kakao offers great homemade cakes, salads and savoury dishes. Children can participate in regular events such as art, ceramic or creative workshops. Café is also available for birthday parties and private celebrations.

Café Pavilon is a pleasant café in the very heart of Havlíčkovy sady, a large English style park located in Prague 2. There is a small area for kids with a table, two chairs and few toys. In summer there are tables outside and children can run freely in the outdoor area of the café. The park is an ideal place for walks and various sport activities and it features two large and well-equipped playgrounds.

I hope you will find my list of family friendly venues  inspiring and you will enjoy great moments with your children.
