Situated in the beautiful surroundings of Divoká Šárka, a nature reserve in Prague 6, this open-air amphitheatre hosts a live opera performance every September.
The Prague 6 Municipal District cordially invites visitors to enjoy Bedřich Smetana's Czech opera Čert a Káča, presented as part of the Prague 6 Days celebrations and the revival of the historic open-air theatre tradition in Šárka.
The annual highlight of the summer will be held on Sunday September 5, 2026 from 2 p.m.
A critically acclaimed opera Čert a Káča, written by Bedrich Smetana, will be performed by the soloists, balet, orchestra and of the Prague National Theater.
The opera performance is free to attend and there’s no formal dress code for this outdoor event. No need to book.
