The Emblem Prague Hotel

Your Home Away From Home

Every hotel strives for that “home away from home” feel. A balance of home-life comforts mixed with an exciting touch of the new and unfamiliar. Sure, it may sound cliche. But the ways in which The Emblem Prague Hotel has mastered this balance are anything but.

Old Town Prague’s cool and artsy The Emblem Prague Hotel was specifically designed as a ‘lifestyle hotel’ with bedrooms intended for sleeping and ‘living spaces’ meant for lounging and gathering. As a result, it’s an incredibly relaxed haven within the city where both guests and members of The Emblem Hotel’s club work, rest, eat, meet and play just as they would as if staying at a friend’s home featuring exquisite artwork and designer furnishings.

There are five distinct communal rooms in total, which guests are encouraged to use at their leisure. Collectively, they are called The M Lounge. Individually, they’re known as The Salon, Drawing Room, The Pantry, Games Room and The Fumoir. The Salon is essentially an extension of your bedroom with sofas, comfortable chairs and a large television for lounging to your heart’s content; big enough to host parties. Smaller in size is the Games Room providing a cosy spot for playing a classic boardgame such as Monopoly or Scrabble.

In contrast, the Drawing Room is more suited to business meetings around its large round table overseen by a 55-inch flat-screen TV. So too is The Pantry where a rectangular table can be used as a workspace or dining table in conjunction with the room’s integrated hob and oven. Meanwhile, The Fumoir bar/smoking lounge allows club members and guests (for a fee) to retreat by its cosy fireplace at any time.

The hotel’s Spa (The M Spa) on the roof top with a jacuzzi that has the best views of Prague, as it overlooks Petrin hill, Prague castle and Old Town. Treatments using French cosmetics from Pure Altitude feature the signature Candle Massage, which is a full body massage that uses luxurious candle balm. It’s a fantastic treatment for dehydrated skin, its ultra-nourishing and repairing. For those that really want to pamper themselves it is recommend to indulge in the 3-hour Tip to Toe treatment that includes a full body massage, facial body scrub and a wrap- the perfect way to rejuvenate and relax. For those looking for a bit of romance, there is nothing more perfect than sipping a glass of prosecco in the heated rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the sunset on the horizon.

Don’t miss: dinner at the quintessential American-style steakhouse, George Prime Steak, for prime steaks, fresh seafood, Californian wines, and classic cocktails.
