Open air cinema at Vystaviste Holešovice. Outdoor cinema at Prague Exhibition Grounds, Vystaviste Prague, is located in front of the Industrial Palace close to the main entrance. Over ear wireless headphones are used so visitors can watch movies late at night with no risk of disturbing residents.  The program features classic modern movies, blockbuster and art movies. You can order cold beer, wine, great coffee or homemade lemonade at the outdoor bar „Osvěžovna Stomovous“.

Outdoor cinema Regina
is situated close to the building of the Czech Radio in Karlín, in the beautiful park full of huge linden trees.  The open-air cinema, which accommodates up to 500 people, screens a mix of cult classic and blockbuster films from Tuesday to Sunday for about 2 EURO. The cinema is easily accessible by metro, tram and bus.

MeetFactory, a Space to Live Art, opens its yard to an open-air cinema with intimate and cosy atmosphere.  Visitors themselves can choose the film, which will be shown in the evening, by casting their votes on Facebook.  Residents of Prague 5 are entitled to a 50% discount. The screenings start at 9.30 p.m. in June and July and 8.30 in August and September. With its eclectic selection of movies, unique space and laidback vibe, MeetFactory is one of the Prague´s favourite outdoor cinemas.

Cultural Summer Center, Tiskárna na Vzduchu, is located on the right edge of Stromovka park between the Exhibition grounds Výstaviště and Planetarium Prague. The center organises various concerts, workshops, lectures and an open-air cinema. The cinema screens  every Tuesday from 9 p.m. and guests can purchase wine, beer, homemade lemonades and delicious cocktails.  

Concerts, open-air festivals, workshops, fairs, festivals for kids and parties are annually hold on the Střelecký ostrov (Strelecky island).  A popular summer destination in Prague “Letňák” also includes an open-air cinema, which screens once a week from 9 p.m.  The best way to access the cinema is by taking the stairway from the Legion Bridge. Refreshment, drinks and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the Ponton bar. 

The area of Žluté lázně is a unique space in Podolí , which boasts amazing position on the Vltava river and a wide range of sporting and recreational activities. Local summer cinema with its spacious grassy beach is able to accommodate 2 500 spectators. Visitors can benefit from a restaurant, bars and numerous refreshment stands as well as the beautiful location on the river bank. The admission is free.

Seasonal Cultural Center Containall in Cihelná street, Little quarter is open daily from May to September and offers various events such as concerts, seminars, lectures, flea markets, ping pong tournaments and an outdoor cinema. Movies are shown on Tuesdays  from 9 p.m. or 9.30 p.m. and the entrance is free. Containall features a spacious beer garden and beautiful views of the river, swans and boats.

Prague Public Transportation Company runs the summer film tour called “Cinebus” through a unique mobile cinema. The bus includes a professional projection technology, a projector, an inflatable movie screen in the size of 8 x 4 m and benches for 200 spectators. Cinebus screenings are free of charge and they take place in different locations in Prague.
