On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the outdoor grounds of Výstaviště Praha in Holešovice will once again open the gates of hell for the spine-chilling Krampus Show.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the legendary event that brings together more than 200 terrifying Krampus devils from renowned Austrian and Czech groups. Visitors can look forward to fire and light performances, a rich gastro zone offering hot drinks and devilish snacks, and an unforgettable atmosphere that will make your heart race. The event is divided into two parts: the afternoon Krampus Family Show, designed for children and families, and the evening Krampus Night Show, an adrenaline-packed experience for adults.
The Krampus Family Show invites brave young visitors and their parents to enjoy an afternoon full of mild fright and fascination. Suitable for children aged 3–15 years, this show introduces up to 150 Krampus figures who, though still fearsome, behave in a gentler manner adapted to younger audiences. The gates open at 15:00, with the main parade taking place from 16:30 to 18:00. Families can expect a spectacular display of costumes, bells, and furry demons, all within a friendly and safe environment that captures the spirit of traditional Alpine folklore without overwhelming the little ones.
As darkness falls, the demons truly awaken. The Krampus Night Show begins at 19:00, with the thrilling procession running from 20:00 to 21:30. This part of the evening is meant for visitors aged 15 and up, offering an intense and immersive experience where the Krampus devils are free to unleash their wild energy. The highlight of this year’s edition is the brand-new “Pekelný kotel” (Hell’s Cauldron) — a special zone for the bravest souls aged 18+, where anything can happen. Expect to be chased, pulled into the parade, or even “abducted” by the Krampus – all in good fun, of course, but not for the faint-hearted.
Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy the Krampus Photo Zone, located by Rychta near Bistro Artyčok, open from 12:00 to 19:00. This is your chance to capture a truly unique memory with one to three Krampus devils, in a private five-minute photo session for up to five people. Bring your own mask or devilish styling for the perfect infernal selfie.
