National Marionette Theatre is conveniently located in the very city centre, near the Old Town Square, in the Municipal Library building. It is well-known for its impressive puppet versions of Mozart´s Don Giovanni or the Magic Flute. The performances use the visual narrative with few or no words, which makes them suitable for non-native speakers or children. The theatre organizes various special events for children, families and companies. For example, they can create scene designs, their own puppet under the supervision of a visual artist or play their own puppet theatre.
