The New Stage of the National Theatre is located on Národní street, in an unique ice-cube shaped building. It develops and presents Laterna Magika, National Theatre drama and ballet performances, contemporary dance, stage discussions, festivals, artistic exhibitions and various independent projects as well as outdoor projects. It offers programmes for children and families, dance courses, or guided tours of the building.
On the third floor there is a Café NONA with an unique view overlooking Národní street. A wheel-chair access, a parking place, a snack bar, a café are available to all visitors of the theatre. The New Stage prides itself on being open, progressive, alternative and inspiring.
