Paramount MAX summer cinema at Cerny most

Located on the roof of Centrum Černý Most, the Paramount MAX summer cinema invites viewers to enjoy free screenings of popular comedies and stand-up performances with well-known comedians every week. Summer cinema starts on June 29 with the screening of Sonic the Hedgehog, a popular children's movie. Then eight film evenings are prepared in cooperation with Prima MAX and Paramount. Brighten up your summer evenings with popular movies every Thursday from 9 p.m. Screening of the summer cinema will again include the stand-up performances from the Comedy Club. More information about the program will be available on the website.

Open-air Cinema Zeď (Wall) by MeetFactory

MeetFactory, a Space to Live Art, traditionally opens its yard to an open-air cinema with an intimate and cosy atmosphere. The eleventh edition of a stylish open-air cinema will be held in space for live art MeetFactory in the former Gallery "Wall" every Wednesday from 14.6. 2023 until the end of August. June and July performances start at 9.30 pm, August screenings start at 8.30 pm. The entrance is free. The film program of the eleventh year, subtitled "The Body as Evidence", will offer 12 screenings during which visitors will embark on an adventurous and fascinating journey through human bodies. Visitors can bring their own snacks or purchase refreshments and drinks at the fully equipped bar. With its eclectic selection of movies, unique space and laid back vibe, Wall by MeetFactory is one of Prague's favourite outdoor cinemas.

Outdoor cinema Kinobus

Prague Public Transportation Company runs the summer film tour called “Kinobus” through a unique mobile cinema. The traditional film tour is held from June 26 to mid-September from Monday to Thursday. A 16th year of the popular summer event will bring 22 Czech and foreign films, 44 evenings and 11 traditional and completely new locations.The bus includes a professional projection technology, a projector, an inflatable movie screen in the size of 8 x 4 m and benches for 200 spectators. Kinobus screenings are free of charge and they take place in different locations in Prague.

An outdoor cinema at Pragovka in Vysočany offers a combination of successful films from regular distribution and a selection of award-winning films. This year's theme is landscape. Screenings take place every Thursday after dark from 8.6. to 7.9. 2023 and are free. Visitors can enjoy some award-winning films along with films that have been recognized as the most prestigious film festivals. This year, the cinema will be moved to the space of the large hall in Hall E, so film will be shown in all weather conditions every Thursday after dark.

Summer cinema (ne) KONEČNÁ at Vypich

DDM of Prague 6 organizes a summer cinema in Vypich every Thursday. Friday screening for children is held once a month.There are no seats available in the summer cinema area, so visitors usually bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of strong wind or heavy rain, the summer cinema is canceled.

Outdoor cinema in Klubovna

Located in the building of the former kindergarten on Generála Píky and Gymnasijní streets in Prague 6, Cultural and Community Center Klubovna organizes concerts, exhibitions, theater performances, lectures and various educational events. Screenings are held in the garden every Wednesday and Sunday after dark from June, 7. 2023 till mid-September. In case of bad weather, the projection moves to another day of the week. Refreshments can be purchased in at bar or in the food truck.

Open air Cinema Zlute lazne 2023

The area of Žluté lázně is a unique space in Podolí, which boasts amazing position on the Vltava river and a wide range of sporting and recreational activities. Local summer cinema with its spacious grassy beach is able to accommodate 2.500 spectators. Visitors can benefit from a restaurant, bars and numerous refreshment stands as well as the beautiful location on the river bank. In May, movies are screened every Tuesday at 9.00 p.m. The first screening will be held on May 16, 2023. Outdoor cinema indie U Keplera Prague 6

Prague 6 and Artcam Films invite visitors to enjoy the open-air cinema U Keplera to the park Max van der Stolela below Jana Keplera grammar school. The cinema program includes exceptional Czech and foreign films. Area with the capacity of 100 seats features a refreshement stand - simple bistro concept with good beer, quality wine and soft drinks. Film screenings do not take place in case of bad weather. Located on the patio of Kasárna Karlín, an outdoor cinema with the capacity of 250 seats starts the new season on June 8, 2023. The selection of films includes art films, classic movies and popular Czech films. In case of bad weather the projections are not cancelled but moved inside. Screenings usually take place on Thursday and Saturday, but checking the the programme in advance is recommended.

The Cultural Center Zahrada (Garden) in Malenická Street in the South City organizes various musical and cultural events for children and adults alike. In case of bad weather, the screening takes place inside the center. The Football Club Bohemians Praha 1905 invites spectators to the openair cinema to Ďolíček Stadium at Vršovice distict. Screeninga will be held from Monday to Friday to the end of July even in case of bad weather.The box office at the main entrance is open from 8 p.m. and the entrance fee is 80 CZK. Refreshments are available at the stand on the "square".

Couch in Stromovka
Located between the Exhibition grounds Holešovice and the tram depot Výstaviště, a new cultural space, Couch in Stromovka, offers live concerts, theatre performances and programme for families. The venue aims to showcase unique music performances, and live concerts.

Letňák at Strelecky island
Concerts, open-air festivals, workshops, fairs, festivals for kids and parties are annually held at this popular summer destination in Prague. In 2021, an open air cinema will not be operated, but concerts take place every day on a pontoon, on stage, or at Cocovan. The best way to access Letnak is by taking the stairway from the Legion Bridge. Refreshment, drinks and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the Ponton bar.

Seasonal Cultural Center Stalin Containall below the Prague´s Metronome is open daily from May to September and offers various events such as concerts, seminars, lectures, flea markets, ping pong tournaments and an outdoor cinema. Projections start every Thursday at 9 p.m. or 9.30 p.m. and the entrance is free of charge. Containall Stalin features a spacious beer garden and beautiful views of the river, swans and boats.
