A territory of Bohemian Paradise enjoys the status of Protected Area and the status of UNESCO Geopark member. It is situated in the north of Bohemia, about 100 km from Prague, and spreads on the area of 180 km2. The region boasts some untouched nature, the most impressive sandstone rock formations, a spectacular scenery, stunning castle ruins and old castles.

The area offers a large network of marked hiking trails, biking paths, caves, ponds, rivers, outdoor and indoor swimming pools,  camping areas and plenty sporting options, such as scenic flights, rock climbing or paragliding. Key municipalities include Jičín, Malá skála, Hrubá Skála, Kost, Turnov, Trosky. It is a unique territory with high scientific and aesthetic value.
