This city park is a perfect spot for jogging, skateboarding, roller-skating, walking, meeting friends or organising a picnic among full-grown trees and plants. Its position above the city centre affords impressive views of the Vltava river and the Old town. In the eastern part of the park there is a popular outdoor summer restaurant, where the visitors enjoy great beer, a traditional sausage and cool summer nights. In the western part, near the entrance to the park, rises cast-iron building in Neo-baroque style called “Hanavský pavilion”. Hanavský pavilion is now a fine-dining restaurant with beautiful interior and charming views of the city. The giant Metronome, large pendulum, is the dominant feature of the park visible from various points in the city.
