Description

The Prague Market area, a culturally protected monument since 1993, was originally created as the Central Slaughterhouse of the Royal City of Prague. The slaughterhouse served its purpose until 1983, when it was rebuilt into a city market. Today, the complex with dozens of shops, cafes and restaurants of various types and many cultural and social events for all generations has become a popular meeting spot among visitors and locals of the Prague 7 district.
