Sports Complex Na Františku and Ice Rink for Public Skating open from mid-November is located along the riverbank next to Na Františku Hospital, just 600 meters from Staroměstská metro station and 600 meters from Náměstí republiky metro station.
In the heart of the Old Town yet on the quiet Kozí Street amidst cozy alleyways, you can enjoy public ice skating, skating sessions for schools and kindergartens, skating and hobby hockey lessons for both children and adults, events for companies and the public, or rent the ice rink for private events.
Besides one of Prague’s finest ice rinks (40m x 20m), you’ll find mulled wine, friendly staff, and the option to rent skates and other equipment for winter fun.
In addition to public skating and traditional winter activities, the Na Františku ice rink has introduced a new feature for visitors – the Après Skate tent, providing a cozy spot to relax, enjoy refreshments, and socialize after skating.
This year, Na Františku also offers the option to host your own events right on the ice – whether you're planning a winter corporate party, birthday celebration, or sports tournament. There’s a special program designed for small teams and large groups alike, including ice games, equipment rentals, and, upon request, professional coaches to guide visitors in basic skating or hockey techniques. The rink is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced skaters, ensuring fun for everyone.
