The National Theatre, resides in an impressive neo-renaissance building, situated on the right bank of the Vltava river. It features three artistic ensembles – Drama, Opera and Ballet. The National theatre presents the mix of modern shows and classics to reach and appeal to a wide range of audiences across the globe.

The National Theatre has an impressive interior with a charming golden decorations, a beautifully painted ceiling, a 5,5 meter long chandelier, and a heavy red curtain. The prices are very reasonable (from 2 EURO per performance). The English and Czech subtitles are projected on the screen above the performers so that everybody could enjoy the Italian, German, French or Czech operas.
